As a founding member of the Global Presence Alliance (GPA), we are regularly involved in major global deployments as well. Our clientele consists mainly of Multinational Corporations across a broad spectrum of industries.
The Role
The role of the Global Program Manager is to track the statuses of these multi-site projects and deliver updated reports to key stakeholders. The GPM is also expected to coordinate with our regional offices and GPA partners to ensure all the milestones are met and pre-empt any challenges to the project cycle. As this is a client facing role, interpersonal skills and good organizational skills are paramount.
Working with global partners and global clients means that conference/coordination calls do occur outside of working hours and should be expected.
The Responsibilities
•Work with the local Project Managers to develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
•Ensure projects in a program are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
•Conduct regular meetings with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.
•Conduct quarterly business reviews with key clients.
•Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
•Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
•Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
•Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
•Manage escalations, if any and work towards resolution with related parties.
•Review project plans and provide guidance and improvements
•Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies for AV project management.
•Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
•Implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
The Pre-Requisites
•Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related
•Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience required
•Has prior experience in working regional markets
•Proficient in project management software tools (i.e Monday)
•PMP certification preferred (but not a must)
•Other useful certifications: Prince2, ITIL V3 Fundamentals, SCRUM, Agile
•Basic understanding of UC/AV technologies
•Proven ability to manage multiple programs / projects simultaneously
•Ability to travel to for overseas meetings approximately twice a year
