Project Engineer – HVM

Our company is looking for a hardworking and passionate Project Engineer to work with us.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time and to the required quality standards. You will also be expected to prepare shop drawings using auto CADD.
You should possess good communication skills and the ability to pay close attention to details.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist project manager in planning and execution of project plans at site.
- Able to read and understand construction drawings.
- Responsible for generating Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals.
- Preparation of Weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Support installation team on Preparing working drawing for site installation.
- Preparation and submission of shop drawings and as-built drawings to client and follow up on approval of the drawings.
- Follow up with QP/client on ST/BCA submission.
- Attending design discussions with the Engineers, Managers, Client, and QP.
- Reviewing Consultant’s design drawings and specification.
- Storing and filing the projects record for future references.
- Ensure the site works are carried out as per the WSH regulation.
- Any other Ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or polytechnic in Engineering or related degree.
- Proven work experience in the Construction company with similar job position.
- Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD software.
- BCSS safety certificate is a minimum requirement. Other local safety certs are added advantage.
- Basic understanding of environmental and safety regulations.
- Good knowledge of engineering principles.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good time management skills.
- A detailed oriented and creative individual.
- Basic oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional active listening skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitasking.
- Knowledge on Hostile mitigation and BIM software is added advantage.
