Job Responsibilities
- Assist project manager in planning and execution of project plans at site.
- Oversee drawing management and control of technical documentation.
- Able to understand and design electrical drawing and single line drawings.
- Able to guide the electrical site installation works.
- Able to manage team of electrical workers and delegate their installation work.
- Carrying out tests and inspections of Electrical/ Hydraulic Control Panel installations and equipment.
- Work closely with other engineers and technicians involved in the project.
- Quality control of electrical appliances
- Providing electrical engineering support for assigned projects.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Work out the bill of materials and engineering deliverables.
- Perform Corrective Maintenance Activities
- Planning routine Preventive Maintenance Activities and assisting the maintenance team.
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures
- Testing appliances for problems and proposing solutions
- Preparing service & Site Progress Reports
- Knowledge of electrical power systems, international codes & standards and Industry accepted electrical engineering software’s.
- Preparation of project specific O&M Manuals and asbuilt information’s.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 Years of working experience in construction industry.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervise.
- Strong leadership skills and a team player.
- Knowledgeable of WSH is must.
- Knowledge about CAD will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge about PLC is must.
- Knowledge about Hydraulic System Control.
- Self-initiative and positive thinker
- Able to take up challenges.
- Able to multi-tasking on job and hands-on person.
