Project Manager - HVM
Descriptions
Oversees the development and management of HVM projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, coordinating with engineers, conducting inspections and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of the project/term contract, including developing short- and long-term targets, overseeing daily activities, ensuring safety and quality, implementing financial controls and coordinating reporting with all stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Reviewing project designs to ensure compliance with project and other requirements.
- Planning personnel and work schedules, and assigning manpower to ensure resources are used effectively
- In-depth knowledge in construction processes and regulation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities and effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Oversee drawing management and lead the drafting team on preparation of shop drawing/as built and ST submission.
- Work closely with other Managers/engineers and technicians involved in the project.
- Providing engineering and technical support to fellow teammates.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings within an acceptable timeframe.
- Finalizing the bill of materials and assisting the purchaser for the procurements.
- Preparing reports to clients and project managers on progress, delays, and defects
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
Responsibilities
- Project management: Planning, leading, and execution of projects from start to finish, including ensuring projects are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Reviewing project designs to ensure compliance with project and other requirements.
- Planning personnel and work schedules, and assigning manpower to ensure resources are used effectively
- Oversee drawing management and control of technical documentation.
- Assisting M&E team to conduct FAT & SAT.
- Carrying out tests and inspections of Electrical/ Hydraulic Control Panel installations and equipment.
- Work closely with other Managers/engineers and technicians involved in the project.
- Providing engineering support to fellow teammates.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings within an acceptable timeframe.
- Finalizing the bill of materials and assisting the purchaser for the procurements.
- Preparing reports to clients and project managers on progress, delays, and defects
- Preparing project-based O&M manuals and reports.
- Planning routine Preventive Maintenance Activities and assisting the maintenance team.
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures
- Testing appliances for problems and proposing solutions.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems, international codes & standards and Industry accepted electrical engineering software’s.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management
Requires Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
- Minimum BE in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or equivalent with at least 2- 3 years of working experience in the construction industry Or Diploma in (civil or mechanical) with at least 5-6 years of working experience.
- Certification in Project Management will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge about AutoCAD is must.
- Knowledge of WSH is must.
- Knowledge and past working experience on Hostile vehicle mitigation is an added advantage.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong leadership skills and a team player.
- Self-initiative and positive thinker
- Able to take up challenges.
- Able to multi-tasking on job.
- Class D/GDL driving license is added advantage.
